The band was founded by Alois Hedevaro drummer who listened to Afro-Cuban rhythms since his childhood. Much influenced him names such as Los Van-van, Irakere Ch.Valdes, A.Sandoval, P.de Rivera, Puerto C.del, H.Hernandez, R.Pineda, J.Brannly, O.Lopez but also Ch Corea, S.Gadd, J.Dalto, M.Santamaria.
Latin Wave deals with the interpretation of Afro-Cuban jazz and Latin American popular music. It connects energetic and vivacious rhythms with jazz harmonies.
